I think that Mid-July will be full of people and very crowded since kids are off from school and such. It is also hurrican season so you may want to avoid that as well.

I think that the best time to visit Atlantis is May or the very beginning of June. I've gone there then twice (once in May and once the first week in June). The weather was in the 80s and it was very nice and it wasn;t too crowded. There are always people at the Atlantis but it wasn't nuts or anything.

I think that October may work as well but I haven't gone there then.... just seems like that would also be a good time.

Avoid mid summer/hurrican season and avoid winter... it won't be as warm.

We went July 13-18, 2006. It's crowded, but there aren't long lines for anything. It really didn't feel crowded. It's VERY hot in July there. But there are small pools EVERYWHERE, so the girl constantly dipped, so they wouldn't melt if we were walking somewhere. We're going back summer 2008.
