Yes we are. We can be attacked in so many ways: biological diseases, chemical contaminations, electrical disruptions, arson, anything, as well as another bombing. Did you see in the news that Boston was the only city to notice the comedy channel's creepy ads, and the ads were placed throughout America's prominent cities? Scary.
I think we can be utterly surprised, but we can defend ourselves. Other countries can operate through free ranging terrorists. A full attack by another country (Japan and S. Korea are our allies) like N. Korea can be detected considerably early, and predicted through intelligence. N. Korea doesn't have what it takes. But China and Russia can take us on.

Well of course we are, but I believe that in the case of an all out invasion they could take a small hold of one area and we would then blast that area into a small crater where ever it may be and remove the threat from our borders. Plus there is no way this would happen without us knowing well in advance that something was up. Also if you don't think we got numbers we really do have plenty, we could easily draft up a military of 2 million men if there was a major war. So if anyone wants to attack us they better just launch the icbm's.

I certainly hope so. Of course all government officials would be safe since they would know when it's gonna happen. As long as our president keeps making deals with terrorists and lying to us about it we'll be vulnerable to attack. Bush knew when 9/11 was goin down and didn't alert even the most crucial segments of our civil services (fire department, hospitals, police, etc.) so what makes me think he won't do it again? This is not our war!!!!! "Our" meaning citizens of the U.S and Britain. We are definitely paying for it though and so are American citizens of Middle Eastern descent. This violence and death is just too much for me. Nobody from Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, China or North Korea ever did anything to me.

Wouldnt it be nice if we were able to fend off completely an all out attack not only from one but many different countries. That would be ideal. Reality is not so... no matter how prepared we make ourselves to limit the damage we are going to get hit somehow when shove comes to blow.

Look.
Everyone is susceptible to attack.
Honestly, I think more nations and peoples have more to fear from the US attacking them, or subsidizing attacks on them, as in the case of the Palestinians from Israel. Why don't you see a psychologist. I wonder if you are losing sleep over this.
Now, let's pray for world peace, peace for everyone, shall we? good night, sleep tight!
