i have at home an ADSL line and of course a server provider.

in how many forms and places the data are stored along the network? does the service provider store my internet data activity or just provide the service with temporary data storage, i really don't understand this process.

the network is 2 PC at home with ADSL line sharing the same modem and router.

The data isn't stored, except maybe very temporarily for caching purposes. However, it is very likely that the ISP stores logs of the data - statistics on every address accessed and the amount of data transferred.

It is unlikely that your ISP retains any deep packet inspection data that could be used to determine which computer on your private network was accessing which resource.

most of the data stored in the temporary list, but it is easy to get programs to hold track of your use of the net

Service provider just mantains a log... which contains the information about the sites you visited and your ip address with time stamp.... nothing more....
