i have joint custody and have him right now she comes to get him tomorrow though but if i have reason to believe she's a drug user can i keep my son and order a dtug screening before give him to her

and the drug is crack dont know if that will help or not

I would speak to a lawyer. Your child could be in danger if she is indeed using drugs.

No crack only stays in your system for 3 days by the time they get her in for screening it doesn't show and they have all these flushes a person can get . If you think your child is around it while they are smoking it then as soon as you pic up your kid from her home then get your child tested that would be good reason for keeping your child . You didn't say that the child is being abused are you doing this to get back at the child's mother if so maybe you should get her help in the long run I'm sure your child would think of you as a bigger person that help its mother rather then the guy that put its mother in jail.You have to think of the child's feeling to .
Crack is the worse drug that's out there today not because they go nuts while on it or are abusive to other people they do have control but the addiction is so great that they will do anything for it like steel lie and most woman will turn into prostitution . We don't need to get the drug users we need to get the drug dealers these are the people turning our family's into crap .

you are either going to have to get a lawyer or talk to social services but if you talk to social services there is a chance that they will totally misunderstand what is going on and could cause more problems. I have seen mothers even claim that there child is being molested by there X. and totally throw everything screwy I know laywers are exspencive but your best bet is to be ready. if you do that for some reason the mother almost always have the parent pull so to speak.I would keep a journal and write down everything you see that is unhealthy for your child and when the timimg is write you have that to fall back on ,they are somewhat a kind of legidiment document in court ,that best that I can give .good luck!

Can she do that to you, probably very easily. Can you do it to her? Only if you find the right judge and have good reason to suspect she is doing drugs. You would have to get an emergency restraining order in order to not break your custody agreement. And by the time the hearing came she would most likely have enough sense to not have drugs in her system. Just about everything except pot is out of your system in about 5 days.

if you can prove her drug use in court she can lose her part of custody talk to a lawyer
