Should I stop my birth control?

I think I may be pregnant! I have been on the pill for about 2 year and never had a mishap always had my period the same time of the month. Well last month I was early ( I started at the end of my third week as opposed to starting mid week of my fourth week and it was very lighter than usual) anyhow I went to the Dr. and got a negative pregnancy test result. But I just feel like I am pregnant I have two kids already and I am not sure if I should continue to take the pills. Is there any harm to the embryo if you take the pill while pregnant? Any advice would help! I am calling my doctor tomorrow to express my concerns. Thanks again!

If you think your pregnant, then yes stop taking it.

Have a blood test to make sure you're pregnant before you stop taking them, and do this asap because I don't know the reasons but doctors always tell you that if you plan to get pregnant, stop taking the pills for a few months first b/c it can harm the baby. The light early "period" you had sounds like it could've been some spotting that you get during pregnancy. You know your body best and if you think you're pregnant (and you know what it's like b/c you have 2 kids!) then you probably are. Get a blood test done and make sure to ask the Dr. all these questions. Good luck. : )

I can tell you what my mother told me.
She said she sees women all the time that THOUGHT they were pregnant. So they quit taking their pills... then they got pregnant. Wasn't pregnant before that though.
My advice?? DON"T STOP TAKING THE PILLS UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE PREGNANT.

and don't have sex until u find out if u prego or not
if u r not
start taking the pill again for a few days then have sex

yes the pill can harm a child if preg, but how can you be preg on the pill?
