I'm looking for a well-written book. Must be interesting and at an adult reading comprehension level. By "interesting" I mean it keeps me reading.
Preferably funny, with barely any references to sex,and preferably fiction and written by a woman.
Again, MUST be well-written and interesting!

LOL you don't have to meet ALL the requirements...
But there are many books out there, and I wanted to narrow it down.

Try any of Sue Grafton's books. She is a mystery writer and has a book written for every letter of the alphabet through the letter
s. Maybe even T by now. She uses humor and mystery and maybe some sex but not a lot (some of them none). They are easy to read and I find them interesting but I love to read.

I liked reading "Roots." It's not funny but it is defintely interesting and eye-opening.
