im 16 years old i have a lump or something on the side of my breast it hurts a little when i touch it im so scared it could be breast cancer or something or could it be me still growing please help me

You should definitely talk to you mom (and have her give you a breast exam if possible), and you should try to get a clinical breast exam from a medical professional if your mom thinks you need it. You should also read the phamplet called "Understanding Breast Changes". At your age, it is likely just growing pains and/or pains related to your period, but it could be cancer. If a medical professional agrees that you have a lump, and it doesn't go away after a month, you should get a biopsy.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're never too young to develop breast cancer, unfortunately. NOT saying that you have it, but definately play it safe by taking a trip to see your Dr. Best of luck to you.

Because anything is possible (including a pimple, I've had one there before) I agree with the other posters that you should talk to your mom about it and see your dr to be on the safe side.

Tell your mom or grandma, show them the lump and see what they say. But you would want to get it checked out ASAP. Better safe then sorry hun....
