I'm thinking about getting a Sidekick 3 from T-mobile, but I have a few questions about it first. Does it support video or Flash? If not, does any T-mobile phone support video or Flash? Also I heard that you cannot purchase any new backgrounds for the phone. True? If anyone uses mixertones.com, do you know if the Sidekick 3 will be able to work with mixertones? Lastly when does the new or updated sidekick come out? I'm waiting for my Verizon contract to expire so I have about three months before I switch to T-mobile. Thanks for all the replies.

SK3 does not support video or flash, mean no youtube for you. Assuming you are in the US, T-Mobile locked all SKs so that only they can supply any modifications for it. You will only be able to purchase ringtones, wall paper and applications through T-Mobile. There is only one way to modify SKs and you will need a developers key which is very hard to obtain.
