i like the song,, if you really listen to it., but i cant quite get the idea.. its like being unfaithful? because both have a partner of their own but wishes to be with each other.. i dont get it., can someone help me?

ok, after talking to austin, seeing many videos and talking to many other fans, the song is NOT about cheating on his girl. austin said it was a true story that happened to him. his ex called (she had broke up with him) wondering if she made a mistake. both are with someone new. he still has feelings for her (which you can't help how you feel about someone so it isn't cheating unless you act on those feelings) now, the key to the song is one little word. BUT. "i never wanna say goodbye BUT girl you make it hard to be faithful..." what comes after the word but? the opposite of what is in front of it. he doesn't want to say goodbye, but he is going to. he doesn't actually say that, instead he gives the reason why he has to say goodbye. its just like saying "i don't want to go to school but i have a big test." you don't want to, but you have to because you have a test.

Hinder is annoying. Really I am jealous the wrote the I am getting laid anthem. I almost think there going to call it quits and bang girls for a while. If you don't know what the song is about then why do you like it? Better yet why do you like the band? They are backstreet boys with rock music. How can I tell? There music might be good but there is no heart behind it. If you really want to know what the song is about type it in and search for the video on yahoo, google or youtube and that is your answer minus a few details the video follows what the song is about.

Basically, he's singing about cheating on his partner. But she has "Lips Of An Angel", and the bible only refers to Angels as male, so maybe he's cheating on his partner - with another guy! And this song went to #1?

the story is basically of a guy whose girlfriend is another room while his ex calls him up late at night. he says that he can't be too loud because his girlfriend's in the other room but he seems to can't resist talking to his ex cause they never really seemed to move on. and that hearing his name spoken by "the lips of an angel" sounds so sweet. in short, he is torn between wanting to stay faithful to his girlfriend (Honey WHY you calling me so late?) and to continue talking to his ex (And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful). he wants to do the right thing but finds it hard to do.

He still loves his ex, but they can't be together anymore, she calls him when his new girlfriend is around and if he had the chance he would cheat with the ex, because she makes it hard for him to be faithful to his current girlfriend.
