It really doesn't imply anything more than the fact that no one survives the curse of Kayako. At the end when the person in the sweatshirt is revealed as Allison (one of the schoolgirls) what's also revealed is that image she saw in the haunted house was actually Aubrey Davis, who had been cursed earlier in the story.
They both get taken by Kayako and everyone loses because of the her pure undying vengence. There's no real twist here. The curse spreads. Aubrey gets cursed by going into the , then the three school girls go to the Saeki house (allison actually sees Aubrey) and Allison to Chicago (probably her original home) and brings back the curse and everyon's doomed. Not much to the plot but I still liked it. It's a bleak story and ending.

Honestly, it was a stupid movie, in fact way worse that the first one..
But the point of part 2, is that it explained why the woman was so angry, and didn't care who she killed, because her mother did horrible things to her when she was a child, and then the fact that she layed on the floor with a broken neck from her husband left to die, while she watched him hurting and then drowning her son, knowing she couldn't help him, and as he killed her son he made sure the little boy saw his cat get killed, and that is why the boy made a cat sound, the sound the woman made is the only way she could breathe with her neck broken and all..

I didn't care for the movie, but I think that if something like that happened to me, I'd probably also kill anyone that came into the house my son & I got killed in looking for the excitement of being scared.. I can understand the woman's rage, that's about it..
