i dont want to be lectured, i know im kind of insane. i just smashed the mirror above the bathroom sink. i hit it because i was mad, not even that hard but it shattered. i removed everything. now i just dont know what to tell my roommate. i dont want her to know i hit the mirror because i got angry when i looked at myself. i realize how immature and odd that is. is it believable to say that i slammed it shut really hard (its one of those mirrors you open and store stuff in) and then it shattered because i shut it so hard? any other ideas? how else do mirrors break other than stupid people getting mad and throwing their fists at them?

Just tell the truth and buy a new one. Stuff happens...... if you lie, you might, for some unknown reason, mention it one day without thinking, and get caught in a lie.

short fuses in otherwise reasonable people can be a monkey wrench in your wheel of life pursuits.maybe you could use a prescrip from your doc for a mild antidepressant if you have attention deficit when compelled to focus on things beyond your mental poop out time.there may be extraneous things in your life that upset you,and you vent the bs on things close by.fess up & tell her,pay for the mirror,& hope she'll understand .this issue might get u in deep doodoo again unless you solve it.did you see something in the mirror that angered you?

Just say you slammed it too hard. When I was a kid, my brother and I were playing around and slammed a door so hard that the glass in the window shattered. So, it can happen.

u cud say u slipped and fell against it. lame i no
or u cud say u were in the shower and a bar of soap or shampoo bottle u accidently threw it against it.
but its not like shell say 'ur lying u obviously hit it"
