I have a '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, and I recently had the Master and Slave Cylinders replaced. Now I only reach the point of engagement on my clutch when I let the pedel all of the way out, instead of a just few inches off the floor like it used to be. My pedel is less than an inch away from the resting position before my clutch engages, making it extremely difficult to drive. I also have far less acceleration than I used to have. Can this be adjusted, or is this something that the transmission shop screwed up? If my clutch pedel travel could be rated on a scale of 1-10, where 1 is pressed to the floor, and 10 is completely released, the point of engagement is now about a 9, when it used to be about a 4.

(released)<*--------->(pressed in) verses <------*---> (* = clutch engage)

Yes there should be an adjustment on it,,take it back to the shop who done the work,,and tell them how you would like it sett up,,and dont go paying them to do what they should have done first time either.

Sounds like you still have some air in the line. Have it bleed again.
Being that it is hydrolic there is no adjustment you can make to the cluch rod.
