Not having prayer in PUBLIC schools has nothing to do with non-believers. It is a constitutional issue.

Why would a non believer think they would go to heaven at all? It seems if they don't believe in heaven, they wouldn't believe they would be going to heaven for good deeds.
so prayer in school isn't forcing beliefs on others? then surely you would not have a problem if, should the majority in the US become muslim, muslim prayer becomes the norm in schools? Since prayer in school isn't forcing beliefs on people, you would have no problem if a different religion's prayers got put in to schools, right?
I also imagine that most people would give their only son to save the world. After all, it is the whole world. I'm not denying that it would be hard, but I think most people would do that. Plus, if they were all powerful, they would just save the world without sacrificing their son.
Finally, if God answers prayers, then why do so many prayers go unanswered? God seems to have a habit of answering relatively minor prayers made by rich people in the first world and ignoring the prayers of starving villagers in the third world. I read an article the other day that around 18,000 children die every day from malnutrition and disease. Their prayers don't seem to be getting answered.
Just some things to think about.

No, prayer shouldn't be allowed in school. It's 6-1/2 hours a day; I'm sure they can find other times to say prayers. It's also not a teacher's place to lead a class in prayer, since some of those students may not be of the religion of which the teacher is, which would be unfair, and could cause problems.
If you want religion intertwined with your education, there are numerous religious schools across this great country where you can get such an education.
Public schools are governed and financed by the states, which is the government, and they are therefore banned from allowing prayer in school.
"Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion..."
By all means pray, but it shouldn't be led by the teacher, during classtime.

There's no reason school children cannot pray whenever they want to. The laws against school prayer are there so that no child feels coerced or left out. Children who want to pray still can and always could. Isn't prayer usually silent?
And by the way, the tone of your post is pretty much the opposite of what a real Christian should be writing, don't you think?

No one has any problem with individuals praying when and where they please. But public schools are government institutions, and may not sponser or require anyone to pray.
I'd like to see kids praying--in school. But every time someone tries to organize something in a public school, some loud-mouthed jerks come along and start "witnessing" or otherwise trying to pressure their classmates--or belittling those who don't join in or are a different religion. So the school--or the curt--steps in and stops it.
If Christians want organized--and voluntary--prayer in the schools, they need to start learning some basic courtesy. Otherwise, pray all you want--silently.

Prayers are essential to have a relationship with God. People have the right to choose their religion but believers in God are better persons.

When prayer left schools, guns came in.
As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in school.

I can't tell if you are a troll and trying to incite people or not. But as a Christian, please remember that we are to walk in love instead of telling people they are going to hell. Your post just makes people more upset at Christianity.
