The score aside, I enjoyed the game. I don't think All Star games should be about defense anyway. I liked the competition between Kobe and James, and the amount of dunks for both sides.
I think if the East was more competitive it might have been better, but I think it was one of the best All-star games in about 3-4 years.
The ones saying they want more defense must be crazy. Who really wants to see a 81-75 All-Star game?
You might as well just watch high school basketball at that point.

The game is always bad. The fans just like to see the dunk contest. This year there were too many performances before the game and during halftime. The best thing about all star weekend would have to be the Barkley/Bivetta race.

this years all star game wuz da ****. kobe is the mvp of course. kobe is the best player behind michael jordan to ever play in the nba. i think that the all-star game wuz alright. don't expect the all-star game to be a game where everyone is trying their hardest. they will not do that because their is a injury risk. i wouldn't try that hard in the all-star game either for that reason.

They were there for the fun of it. I think they had fun and I had fun watching it. It was more like a vacation for them to have time out and socialize.
Some of the best played the game and didn't worry who really won.
We all knew it would be all about Kobe.

It was one of the worst in terms of competition. No one in the east bar Lebron stepped up and tried ever so slightly to make a game of it. I knew Lebron wouldn't put in a flimsy performance like D Wade did. All he cared about was his parties and looking good. I think he forgot it was his basketball that gets him into those positions.

So bad that it became an advertisement for the banning of NBA games in Vegas. The city just saps the players' desire to play ball. They certainly wanted to do something else in there.

i can tell you i didn't like it. and looking at it from a fans perspective, who wants to watch the nba's biggest show if it's a boring blowout. there was no competition. maybe the players would pick up the slacking if there was something to play for, like the mlb's all star game.

I'm from Long Beach Calif. and my wife and I thought it was great !!! It was nice to see Kobe finally get his props !!! They never give Kobe the MVP for the regular season so it was nice to see him get his award tonight. It was ugly for the east that's for sure. The west was ballin tonight !!!
