Any oil that has an API Approved starburst symbol is fine. A quart of $1.40 quart of Walmart 10w30 is as good as a $2.30 quart of Castrol.

In my Ranger right now i run Quaker State 5W30, but once i get my 302 into my truck i'm switching over to Royal Purple. it is the best synthetic oil you can buy in my opinion, not a major brand name, but the best blend.
