Yes..he is sitting right next to me. My first husband 14 years ago.
Back together and stronger than before.

This may sound weird but I never really got out of touch with my ex.
Now, a million years later we still email each other a few times a week and send cards (birthday, Christmas, etc) to each other as well. I love him like a friend and I honestly forget that we lived with each other for years as lovers. Weird!

I once went out with a guy I broke up with a year after I dumped him. Going back out with him was not a good idea.

Most shrinks say it is a dance we play.
You get dumped, so you do whatever you can to get back together with the other person.
When it happens, you have a new found faith in yourself, and you realize you have the power to walk away now, if you want.
At the first sign of the other one dissing you, you will simply pack your bags and split.
That's the way it goes...over and over and over.....

Yes, I kinda dumped him. He said it was either my job or him. I chose the job. Twenty one years later, I heard from him and got all the what ifs, I am okay with all my decisions.

Yes she contected me last year, and we're still in contact. We were a couple when we were 14 and now we're 33! *yikes!* She didn't dump me though. We were too far away in separate states.

One guy called me a year after up and running away to Ky. He wanted to hook up. He even went to my old apartment. To bad for him, by that time I was already engaged to my future husband!
