I am reading a book called "Life in the Fat Lane", and in the book there's this girl, Lara, who has the disease called "axell-crowne disease" which makes her gain so much weight.
What I'm wondering is, is this a real disease? It seems fake to me. But an author wouldn't just make up a disease, would they ?

"Lara does not take the weight gain lying down, but diets, exercises, and even visits doctors, but the weight keeps piling on. She is eventually diagnosed with a fictional disease called Axell-Crowne Syndrome."
