At night my car when it gets really cold beeps. It's not a car alarm it's the horn. In order to get it to stop I have to hit the steering wheel. what could be causing this problem? what could I do to make it stop

the car is not on when it's beeping it is just sitting in to drive way and It's the middle of the night 1:17 to be exact and it's a pontiac sunfire.

Please remember that I am a girly girl and the only thing that I can do is kind of change a tire and check my liquids.

Sounds like there is condensation between the connections in your steering wheel with the horn. Take to a mechanic to clean out the condensation.

Sounds like a bad horn switch. Have it replaced.

It is a short in the horn connections..... you need to pull the horn assembly apart and check the connections out.

The problem is the switch that actuates the horn it is bad and needs to be replaced.

pull the fuse for the horn, sounds like a ford

OK, its going to be alright , i know what the problem is,
your car...is possesed DONT PANIC though.

either hire an excorsist (we all know how that works out) or just get on your cars good side, try explaining to her the problem,
it will understand

that is....

maybe u should buckle ur seatbelt. Cars beep when u dont have seatbelts on

I think that you should take it into the Garage and if it does not stop while its in there i think you should take it to the shop and have it checked out!
