My favourite Naruto characters are Jiraiya, Naruto and Kakashi.

1.Naruto Uzumaki- definetely has the characteristics the main star needs.
2.Kakashi Hatake- Simply cool and a awsome fighter and teacher.
3.4th hokage-dude everyones likes him he's the best ninja ever lived not forgeting the fact that he might have some kind of relation to Naruto.
And these three seem to be the most talented in the series.

First point: I like Iruka's personality, his dedication to his career as a teacher, as well as sense of responsibility.
Second point: Iruka is good looking.
He is matured, self sacrificing, sensitive to Naruto's feelings and is able to show that he cared for people. A true New Age Shinobi. Iruka is able to give of himself and love others.
Naruto: Why does people sacrifice themselves for others?
Iruka: All people are connected to each other, this connection thickens over time, it is a line that can never be cut. This line is the love between all people.

HATAKE KAKASHI... he is an aloof man that never cease to amaze me... both his looks and efficiency an a ninja makes me wanna' squeel like the fangirl i am... and i'm still wondering what lies beneath that mask of his, though i'm pretty certain that his looks would make any girl in 5 mile radius swoon over him... i really love the way he reads porn in public, like it's some normal activity... when it's not... the way he carries himself both in battles and in his everyday routine is very graceful, if not sexy...O_o... and who wouldn't laugh at his LAME excuses for being late, eh? ^^
