Falling in the ice is no joke.
No, I did not, thank G-d. I did once get my nose frostbit in -75 degree with wind chill. Looked kind of funny, like "brown-nosed."
Another time, on top of a mountain, I got two toes frostbit. The tips turned black. Didn't lose them though, thank G-d.
I take cold injuries very seriously, having lived on the tundra and in northern New England.
