Al Gore's documentary is the greatest piece of lying propaganda since Triumph of the Will. Global Warming is nothing but a communist scheme to bring America down to the rest of the world.

America is exceptional and we won't let communists like Al Gore bring us down.

These are five things that are recommended that we can all do. I am doing these, recycling everything I can and I also have a hybrid car. These five things will also save you money! And what's the harm--no matter what you think or believe, isn't it still a good idea to be good to our planet and environmentally responsible?

Compact fluorescent light bulbs: These energy-efficient bulbs cost less than $4 and are produced by major corporations like GE. If every household in America switched five regular light bulbs for five fluorescent bulbs, it would be the equivalent of taking 1 million cars off the highways for a full year.

Outdoor solar lighting: These yard or patio lights cost less than $20, and they don't burn any electricity or produce any CO2.

Programmable thermostats: Though these thermostats cost from $50 to $100, they can actually cut your heating and cooling costs. Set the setting so it's a little bit cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer when you're not in the house. A difference of 2 degrees can reduce a home's CO2 emissions by up to 9 percent over the course of a year.

Air filters: Changing the air filters in your heating and cooling systems regularly can knock 2 percent off of your CO2 output each year.

Electric hot water heater blanket: Hot water heaters use a lot of energy and generate a lot of CO2. A blanket costs less than $18 and can cut your home's CO2 emissions by almost 4 1/2 percent.

*Also, when you're shopping for major home appliances, look for the Energy Star label. This is a signal that you're getting an environmentally efficient appliance that's going to save you money at the same time.

Global warming is a natural occurring phenomenon. We as humans may have contributed to it, but I would not trust anything Mr Gore had to say about it. He claims he invented the Internet and we know that is a lie!

You really need to look further than this piece of propaganda to investigate global warming. I think you will find that even the scientists can't agree, so what the heck can a former VP know about the subject?

Haven't seen it and wouldn't waste my time or money to go see it! First off, I can't stand Gore AND I don't believe that global warming is as disastrous as he claims [if at all]. Most environmentalists are looney tunes anyway so I sure don't listen to them! And there are MANY scientists who claim it doesn't exist, but of course you wouldn't get that info from the liberal media! I think the libs just found another subject to try and scare the public [remember when they said the Republicans wanted to do away with seniors' benefits?!?!]. It's all just more of their BS!

Mr. Gore had the noteriatry to make people pay attention. Many scientists and environmentalists have been saying this for over a decade.

Yes spread the word, really, every day.

Good question.

I thought it was very informative and hope they make it part of the Jr and Sr High curriculum. Exposing ignorance is one of the best ways to pitch in. (Pun intended #1)
