Thats not true. This can happen when you lift heavy things a few days before your period, this can cause longer and heavier flow for that month. You should wait at least one month before assuming that you are pregnant, if not, you need to visit a Gynocologist and do a pregnancy test. Best of luck.

That doesn't sound like your pregnant, if your periods are lasting 10 days I don't think thats normal you should talk to a doctor. Implantation bleeding usually lasts a day or two and they are lil spots of light pink or brown blood from the baby implanting but shouldn't be heavy like a period or no medium cramps either. You can test up to 4 days before missed period and if you get negative then test a week after your late and if you get negative again pretty much means your not pregnant cause pregnancy tests are 99% accurate, but doesn't sound like your pregnant...I would go talk to your doctor hun something doesn't sound right..goodluck!

Mkay, if you ARE pregnant then it'll still come out positive regardless of bleeding...although it could be negative if you are testing too soon. I guess my question to you would be are you spotting or having what you would consider a regular period, because it's much more uncommon to have heavy bleeding during pregnancy unless you are miscarrying than it is to spot. Signs of pregnancy are sore breasts, nausea, sleepiness, and various others. If you really think you are pregnant, you should test.

OMG,I really hope you are not pregnant. If you have your period for ten days and it is not normally like that then go to the doctor. If you had just finished spotting I would wait maybe a week or two and then take a hpt. good luck

My mom had her period throughout her pregnancy with me. She also had her period when she was pregnant with my little brother. I would go to the doctors or take a test. Its the only way to be sure.

what?
the chances of you being pregnant if you just got your period are pretty slim.. I don't think its a common sign of pregnancy.
