Yes, it does matter.
I'd rather have 3 or 4 good answers, than to wade thru 35 silly ones looking for the best answer.

i dont think it matters how many people answer your question and it is about haveing the right one. You have to use points for asking questions.

Its nice to get a lot of answer's if they are fairly common sense answers. The people that reply with a " I dunno" just to get a point, aren't any help, what so ever. Some questions are so serious, they should be asked to a doctor or lawyer, etc. Not a good idea to rely on answer's from Yahoo. If its a question that is not of any significance if answered wrong, go ahead and ask it here.

It always feels nice to get a lot of answers to a question. If I get a lot than there's guaranteed to be at least 1 right one.

if you ask a question, it shouldn't matter how many people answered rather which answer you think is the one you're seeking.

Yes and it has nothing to do with points sometimes I ask a ? that I would like a really good answer to and I get
like 2 or 3 flakey answers. Then I don't know which one to pick b/c I don't like any of them.
