how to stop groupism and politics in my office .....?

though i might be extra sensitive.....how can i stop my employees from talking too much ...and try to be daring .....i dont like the non verbal cues they give sometimes.....any tips to manage big team....mainly in IT ......and how to monitor their activities....

In the IT game, tracking their activities should not be that difficult.
Office Politics, you need to come to terms with this, it is not going anywhere.
To tighten the reins a little on your team. Try implementing some policies. Policies are rules with a bit of a sugar coating. It would certainly be nice if we could count on people to behave as adults, and therefore the need for policies would be minimal or even nonexistent but, that is simply not the case. Not only in your office, but in most.
