She's a singer/dancer from the late 50's and 60's and I think into the 70's. She toured Vietnam with Bob Hope plus made movies, she was what we called a "Sex Kitten".

I think she took the place of the tidy bowl man in those commercials...either that or it is her singing "Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow" on those cat food commercials.
Don't laugh. People use their previous fame to do some pretty strange things in order to earn a buck.
