So O.K. I know Florida has it's advantages but I need someone to give me the DISATVANTAGES of Clearwater Florida.
I have someone who is driving me crazy telling me there is no better place to live then Clearwater, Florida yet he commutes to California for a job. Give me some insider info!

The biggest disadvantage of Clearwater (in my opinion) is that it is the Scientology capital of the world. Check out the article from Rolling Stone Magazine that I've cited below.

Well Clearwater Beach has to be rated TLC
Traffic, Lots of Construction.
Traffic in the whole city is a negative.

well i live in clearwater and well one thing is that the beach is very beautiful but... they are building those stupid million dollar condos on the beach and now almost like the whole beach is gone and well there isn't much fun stuff here most of the fun for kids water parks or adventures parks are about 45 mins to like, 2 hours away so i don't think is is that great but is sure pretty.

It has become very crowded and expensive. There is much more concrete, asphalt, and people than grass and trees. Dealing with obnoxious drivers and traffic jams are a part of daily life.
The cost of living is increasing significantly by the year, and most people cannot sfford to buy a house.
