i am going to a rosary tomarrow. i have never been to a rosary. what goes on at a rosary?

Is it for someone who has died, as I have been to a rosary whereby it is a special prayer session said for that someone. The Coffin can be present or not.

A rosary is when you pray for a deceased person, most of the time the coffin is present. Everyone kneels and prays together with the priest to the beads of the rosary. Make sure you know all the words to these prayers (Hail Mary, Our Father, etc.) and you will be fine. Good luck!

I am a catholic. I've been praying the rosary since I was a kid.
A rosary is a group worship wherein you use formulated prayers like "The Lord's Prayer" , "Apostle's Creed", "Hail Mary", "Glory Be" and "Hail Holy Queen". A prayer book will come in handy. bring a rosary too...

you must not be catholic. when you go to a rosary, everyone gets together and prays...the rosary.

let me warn you rosary's are very long, where they repeat the same thing over and over again (hale marry). dotn worry about bring beads, especially if you arent catholic, like just there for support.
