When you first get your period it can be very very irregular for the first year or so. Your sister is fine.

Well, I actually wouldn't know from experience, but I have some book knowledge on the subject. During the years in which girls go through puberty, their body is adjusting to all the hormones flooding out through the body. And because of this, the menstrual cycles tend to be all wacky during those years. She's normal, but just growing up.

I think that this is normal.. I know I started about that age.. 10 or 11.. had it a couple of times and then it stopped again for a few years.. As long as she is not sexually active, I am sure she is fine.

She's 10 and you're thinking she might be pregnant?
She is probably going through the normal hormonal fluctuations that 10 yr olds do.

Dont worry too much. She might just have an irregular period, which there is nothing wrong with it.
