VERY!! Even if you do not have a problem with poor mannerisms, someone else may. Think about it...what happens when you have to take him to family or work functions? What happens when he has to volunteer to do things at the school after you have children, and ultimately...wouldn't you want to marry someone who will be able to raise your children to be respectable adults?!

When we are choosing a mate, esp someone to share the rest of our lives with, we want them to have manners...
If they dont have manners, then most likely they dont have morals or values. Having morals and values, are crucial to any relationship...we want someone who has high morals.

Very important! I can't date a pig! I hate when guys act overly gross and are rude out in public. I can understand the occasional burp or passing of gas, but all the time, then that is way to gross!
