Import tax for a single item from China?

I want to buy an item from China. The cost of the item is $37.17. It will be shipped U.P.S. It is an electronic item. How much import tax, if any at all I will be charged? Im having a hell of a time trying to get an answer to this...Help me, thanks!

http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/bychapter/2005_supp.htm This is the US International Trade Commission tariff information center where you can find import duties for everything. Your item is probably under Section XVI or XVIII. But if it's just one item, then have the sender write "sample" on the customs form, and you will not need to pay any duty.
