Now, if you are truing to conceive for that long and nothing at all has happened as of yet, it could be anything, and then again, it could be nothing at all either, but it is better to find out now, don't you think?, if thee is something wrong and/or missing, than keep trying now and never know till later...

Good Luck!

If your regular you would be fertile 14 days after the first day of your last period for about 4-5 days you are fertile. If you are irregular you can buy ovulation tests from the store which can help you pin point when your pregnant. When I am fertile I notice I have increased cervical mucus and cramp lightly, everyone is different, but if you don't think ur ovulating you should talk to a doctor to make sure you can have kids and have a check up to make sure everythings alright so you can have a baby quicker! Goodluck!

Signs of ovulation.
1. One sure way is to take your temperature every morning before you get up and record it on a chart called a basal body temperature chart. Most women's temperature dips by almost one degree when they start to ovulate. http://www.webwomb.com/bbt_chart.htm

2. Your vaginal secretions will start to become clear and thin when you are ovulating.
3. Some women will actually feel a little cramp or twinge in their pelvis when ovulation occurs. I did every month.
4. You can take an ovulation test.
5. If you are regular on your cycles, between 28 and 32 days, then around the middle of that time should be when you are ovulating. I always tried around day 12 and we would have sex every other day until the 18th day.
6. After two years of trying, I started going to the fertility doctor.

Since every woman’s menstrual cycle varies the best way to find out when you are ovulating is by researching the following web-sites. They are packed with useful information and provide cool color coded charts that are easy to use, and tailored to your biorhythm. Most couples will conceive within a year, so if you have not conceived within year you should make an appointment with a fertility specialist. Good Luck

Physical Symptoms of Ovulation
The following observable symptoms can indicate ovulation:

Breast tenderness
Abdominal cramps or twinges
Increased vaginal discharge
Change in position and firmness of the cervix (ask your doctor how to detect cervix changes)

You should wait to ask your Doctor until you have been trying for a year. I went to my Doctor before a year and she told me that they don't do any kind of test until you have been at least trying for a year. She said that most normal people get pregnant with in the first year. Also I would try the clear blue ovulation kit " I got pregnant with my son with that kit" Good luck!!!!

Make sure you have this information for your doc: 1. how long your period is 2. what day it begins 3. is it regular or irregular 4. if you or your spouse is on medication, was on bc, or anything
and you tell your doc that you are trying to figure out your most fertile period during your cycle. He will use the first day of your most recent period and the length of it to calculate the timing. During that time (a few days) you should have sex, if not every day at least every other, to help! good luck
