They were not taught how to cook by their moms
They are too busy working outside the home, and are tired and want to do quick and easy meals.
They don't like to cook
They don't like the cleanup work after cooking.
They haven't been complimented on their good cooking, especially something fancy, or for a special occasion.
Hope this helps answer your question.

Well, when you have to work full time, are usually the primary parent to any children, responsible for seeing the house is cleaned, and the laundry is done, besides being the one who takes the kids to all their activities, and the doctor, and has to be the one who remembers all the holidays and birthdays for all the family, including your in-laws....cooking really doesn't make the top 10.

I know when my daughter was young, cooking was very simple. We ate lots of baked chicken and canned vegetables, or spaghetti with a salad.

Now that she's an adult, I love cooking, and I'm inclined to make things from "scratch".

(*shrug*) Perhaps if you took on more responsibility at home, including cooking and child care, then you'd get more home cooked meals.

THATSWHAT MICROWAVES ARE FOR, BESIDES this has become a world of convience now, everything is precooked, premixed, and ready to pop in the microwave. WOMEN STILL COOK ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS, A woman has to get out and work just as much as the man now, just to make ends meet If I was at home all day and didnt work I wouldnt mind cooking, BUT a MAN can take on the cooking just as easy as the woman can. DONT YA AGREE??????????

Um, well first of all. I am a great cook. However, If my husband made more money, I wouldn't have to work two jobs AND take care of the baby, house, dogs, etc. and try to cook dinner all at once. My question to you; When did men stop taking care of their families and start expecting the woman to do EVERYTHING!?

Your a dork!

If I cooked every night it wouldnt be special.... now would it ? I throw together a basic meal every night except Holidays. On Holidays I cook like my Grand-Momma taught me ! Everything from scratch....and enough to feed a small army :) I have to agree though that woman generally dont spend as much time perfecting their domestic skills....but that is only because we have SOOOO many other responsibilities to attend to. Woman of yester-year only had to tend to the home....so they could really SHINE .

The Microwave has taken the place of actual cooking. Some women have jobs and are to busy to cook meals.Others never learned, and have no desire to.

Since more women are becoming the bread winners, why don't more men learn how to cook? Right now you want us to do it all.

How come some men are still ignorant pigs?

I can cook, my man can cook, I can clean, my man can clean. I am as happy to mow the lawn as he is to wash the dishes.
