Leo & Taurus?

Ok, Im a Leo & I have a crush on this guy at my school. I really like him & I think he like me too (im not sure). The thing that havent working out with me that he's a Taurus. In the past I have a ex-friend (she's a Taurus), I thought she would be my best friend forever but thing NEVER work out & now we hate each other and I havent talk to her for 1 year now. I just want to know, if he ever like me, does it work out between us or we just gonna end up hating each other.
