If I need to see a doctor for breast health (I have a milk blister from nursing my 9 month old daughter that isn't going away and is causing a blocked duct) should I go to my primary care physician or my OBGYN?

I would go with the OBGYN. They have more expertise than a general practitioner. General practioners are good for basic health problems, but OBGYN's deal with all aspects of women's health.

I have had one when I wasn't pregnant. It's just a blockage or the bartholin gland. Sitz baths 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes each should clear it up in a few days. If it becomes painful, that means it is infected and has become an abscess and you need antibiotics and to have it lanced. Either way, I wouldn't think it should effect your pregnancy. Bartholin glands are near the outside of the vagina, which is away from the action, so to speak =) If it gets infected see your OB

Go to your OBGYN they are used to handling these situations and can quickly identify and treat it.

Either doc can handle your general needs like this. I don't see a GYN doc unless my regular doc refers me to one as something is out of his league.

I think OB/GYN handles all aspects of women's reproductive health, including breasts.
