i was thinking of getting a ps3 but it looks like 360 is having better games im into the shooters and action games i must know in the future witch will have better action our shooters

Get a 360. About 50% of the games on it are shooters. Most of them are awesome.

There are quality shooters for both systems. Currently, the killer app for both systems is a shooter (Resistance: Fall of Man on PS3; Gears of War on 360).
However, coming soon for the 360 is Halo 3, and the PS3 as MGS4 in the pipeline. In all reality, though, you shouldn't let one genre dtermine whether or not you buy a system.
Take a long look at all the current games and projected games and at the each system's capabilities. Then make your much more informed decisions.

xbox 360 has mostly shooters and action games. also the xbox 360 controllers have rumble which the ps3 does not. i dont know about you but this feature in shooters is a big thing for me. you also have the biggest online shooter halo 2 to play with until halo 3 comes out. im not too into the sneak around metal gear solid type gameplay im more into fast paced halo type shooters so it all depends on what you like.

Stay with teh 360 for now, I have a ps3 and it just collects dust in my room since there are no games for it. 360 is having a ton of shooter games coming out in the coming months

all these are very good and informative answers. i have to agree with everyone here who said the 360. it blows the PS3 out of the competition. if you get the ps3 your gonna have to wait month by month and up to a year to start getting some good games, while the 360 has a huge availability of games ready to play now with more on the way.

Basically, it's going to come down to which franchise do you prefer:
For the 360, there's Halo, Gears of War, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Lost Planet.
For the PS3, there's Resistance: Fall of Man, SOCOM, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2.

i have a 360 andd a wii and my wii collects dust xbox is diffently the winner of the next gen wars the worst thing you can do right now is get a ps3, xbox has a bunch of good games out right now and more coming just think it got a year head start.

well i dont really kno much about both of them but i do hav a ps2 but anyways if u like games like halo and stuff, it's better 2 get the xbox but if u like shooting games like grand thieft auto or true crime ect. then get the ps3

i would wait a while before buying a PS3, they still need to work out the kinks. and wait for more games to come out.

If you are in to shooting games then no matter what you should get the xbox360 my freind has one and he has so much fun with it. :-)
