I needed a work permit to start working there when I was 14. But that was years ago. When I did work there, they pretty much made the younger (16 and under) ones clean. Sweep, mop, wipe off tables. Pick up garbage in the parking lot. It wasn't so bad really, as long as you followed their motto, "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean'" They pretty much left you alone and you got a free meal at the end of your shift.

I got my job in a restaurant around 14......I work as a hostess but seeing as you want to work in McDonalds you'll probably clean and stock, you can't really handle food, the cooking part atleast, but pick up an application and ask what the job entails, they'll tell you. Best of luck.

No it is not legal for You to work at the age of 14 yrs. How ever You could ask for an employment application form and pre-apply prior to Your birthday. It would show the Manager that You are keen to start.

It's illegal to work when you're 14, but you could do what I do. If you have a local community center you can make flyers telling people that you bay-sit and you are willing to do odd jobs on the weekends.

its illegal to work at your age unless your babysitting. otherwise its against the law if McDonalds hires you at your age even if its just for cleaning.
