Our lives and mine included are an exact experience of the choices we make. Not everyone will agree with that. It takes more than a brief observation to see what determines our experience of life. Most people not recognizing that they have complete control of their lives fail to make different choices and consequently their lives tend to just keep repeating the same experiences over and over.
The belief that we are "victims of life" is very common. The truth if we our willing to find it, is very empowering. As we take responsibilty for our life and the fact that we have created what we are experincing, we find ourselves in a position to direct our lives more to our likeing. Life can be compared to ordering items from a menu at a restaurant. Choose whatever you want and it is yours.
An understanding of the principles of life will make progress in that direction much easier. That is what the term " as you sow, so shall you reap" is all about.

At this stage of my life it is headed into rust and painful joints. Wishing my grandchildren had a war free world to grow up in and perhaps clean air, clean water and some green trees. Nothing seems as important as it did when I was younger, even death pomises a rest from worry and grief. All the material things that people have to have only provide more to worry about losing. I am heading into the final chapters where I will take the time to watch closly how the rest of the world unfolds, care for my tiny piece of heaven on earth and the critters that live with and around me. I will listen to the wind through the trees and hear them sigh. There will be time for this.

My life is headed along a foggy trial. I don't know where I'm going or where I am. Whith every choice I make, I take a step forward, no matter if my decision is good or bad. Although I cannot see, My path is illuminated by my friends and family. I have no way of knowing the future, and my memory is all I have of the past. I live for the present, enjoying the time I have. I suggest u do the same.

Good question. Not quite sure yet. I'm steering it toward a few more years in my current job, then back to school, marriage, and a family. However, life does throw curves - the person who said that we have complete control over our lives has obviously never lost a spouse when they were in their 20s. It's more important how you react to those events than thinking you can control them. I learned that the hard way - took me years. Helpful hint to that person - never tell a widow that she created her own destiny, it will likely get you punched out. (well, unless she's just been convicted of murder, of course)
So, who knows for certain what the future holds. I've had to alter my expectations and plans several times over the last 37 years, and I may alter them again. I only know that it's all good now, and it will be all good then.

between now and the grave I have no idea. One split second can change what direction it goes so its hard to say. The only thing I am sure of is someday it will end.
