ASP.NET is a very good tool for developing dynamic web pages. It has great built in tools for displaying data, images, and storing/recalling data.

PHP has its advantages (its free), but ASP.NET is very powerful and has a smaller learning curve.

i think it is good, using XML and XSLT you can a lot for dynamic webpages,
