Respect her wishes if she is still a virgin.
But if she has already been around the block a few times with previous lovers, I say no way are you going to buy that used car without test driving it.

You then need to respect her wishes. But I also think that she shouldn't be living with you until you both are married if she wants to make things right. Otherwise, with her being there, there it is more tempting for you to want her even more.
