ok i was reading a post about the draft
it said that Quinn could get drafted to the Lions and the Lions and Philly Eagles might trade Quinn and D. McNabb.
(that would be a dream cause im a huuuuugeeeeee Eagles/B. Quinn fan)
--but then again the page had its doubts....

is that true?

Brady Quinn will need a good combine to move up in the draft high enough for the Lions to even draft him. As well, McNabb is the heart and soul of Philly, so it is hard to imagaine them trading away their starting qb as Jeff Garcia will most likely be elsewhere this coming season as he showed how valuable of a player he can still be.

Just another one of those rumors flying around. According to the experts the Lions will most likely draft OT Joe Thomas of Wisconsin with the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Brady Quinn however, is not ranked in even the top 20 in the draft. It would make more sense for the Eagles (who pick 26th) to take their chances with McNabb next year and draft to fill a hole that will arise at safety. They are expected to pick S Brandon Meriweather of Miami,

I sure as hell hope that happens, that'd by far be best move ever by Matt Millen, and it'd suck for Eagles, cause no way would u wanna get rid of McNabb for Quinn, cause so many QB's taken in top 5 become busts, just like almost every single heisman winning QB in NCAA becomes horrible in the NFL, so that'd be way too risky for the Eagles to take that chance, maybe if it was last year's Vince Young they were tradin McNabb for, then I'd maybe take a chance on it if they r in rebuild mode, but eagles don't need to rebuild there team right now, so I'd stick with D-MAC

Philly isn't going to give up NcNabb. He wants to retire an Eagle and frankly as fickle as Philly fans can be, he's their man. And no one in their right mind is going to get rid of a QB who had a passer rating of 95 before his injury. Honestly, with Garcia going into free agency and the fact that the Eagles don't have much cap room to work with, they're not going to risk getting rid of NcNabb (who despite injuries has been very consistent) who as long as he stays healthy is a very good QB. I think it's going to take a pretty penny to keep Garcia, which the Eagles are lacking in funds and why screw up a good thing in McNabb. You know the guy will play until he LITERALLY cannot walk, he at least deserves another year to show he can get healthy and get it going again.

I think in the draft they're going with a linebacker or with a safety/cornerback. Dhani Jones hasn't been that good and Jeremiah Trotter is getting a little bit older and they need someone they can start molding into a top LB. Plus you have a hand full of safeties and DB's that are going into free agency (and once again, with the Eagles cap situation they're not going to be able to keep everybody) so I think filling the spots in the defense are a more important priority right now.

Is that a joke? McNabb has got probably 3-5 good years of play left in him. Why would the Eagles trade away a great player, especially for a questionable player.

You're a huge Philly fan and you want this to happen? Why on earth would you trade a bonafide star, the foundation of your team, and, by any statistical measure, one of the top 5/6 qb's in the league for a huge question mark (and every rookie QB is a huge question mark). QB's like McNabb aren't easy to come by. Treasure him, don't trade him!

there is not any checklist for persons who already declared, you are able to in basic terms assume whose going professional. appropriate 5 gamers Rated via NFL Scouts: one million) Brady Quinn QB 2) Joe Thomas OT 3) Calvin Johnson WR 4) Alan branch DT 5) Gaines Adams DE right it relatively is a few appropriate 3 gamers via place: QB: one million Brady Quinn 2 JaMarcus Russell 3 Brian Brohm RB one million Adrian Peterson 2 Marshawn Lynch 3 Kenny Irons WR one million Calvin Johnson 2 Ted Ginn Jr. 3 Jeff Samardzija Please word That Smith isn't interior the checklist for a number of reasons. he's projected to be an early third around p.c.. or a late 2d around p.c... it relatively is through his undesirable performances against while the activity is on the line (Penn St and Illinois). it is likewise do to the weak point of Ohio State's schedule against appropriate rated bypass protection communities. For those of you questioning, Texas is cost 116/117 is bypass protection. Ohio State is the final team interior the country, yet via no ability is Smith the explanation why. he's cellular like Brady, yet he's not a working qb. His stats are lackluster and he grow to be in basic terms a made from OSU's exposure season which would be seen from his NFL scout scores who're impartial!

Trade a solid QB that has proven himself in the NFL for a rookie QB that doesn't have many statement games against potent defenses while playing for Notre Dame?

Yeah, and Barry Sanders will return to Detroit to take over Kevin Jones' spot in the backfield.

Knock this rumor out quickly and don't even consider it.

McNabb is loved in Philadelphia...won't happen...Garcia is loved too, because of the run they had in the playoffs with him, but McNabb is still the QB...
