He may start out well, he does have some talent, it's just that he's always hurt. But even if he is pitching well, it's only a matter of time before he "suffers" a cracked fingernail and misses the whole second half. At least when he does get hurt, Phil Hughes will be called up, and we won't see Pavano again.

Do you remember after the 2005 season, the Yankees traded for Johnson, and signed Jaret Wright and Pavano? Those moves really worked out well, didn't they? At least the Yankees got some young pitchers in trading those guys.

I think he will. Hes in the last year of his contract so he knows if he wants a big contract next year hes gonna have to show he can pitch.
