Its not looking good and might be season ending cuz of surgery.

Flyers' general manager Paul Holmgren said that Knuble fractured his orbital bone and his cheekbone on the play. Once the swelling goes down he is projected to undergo surgery.

As of right now, Knuble is listed as being out indefinitely, but there's a good chance his season is over. He will have surgery sometime in the next few days, they have to wait for the swelling in his face to go down before they can operate.

The Flyers will not be making the playoffs this season, so the smart thing to do would be to keep Knuble out these final six weeks and have him come back healthy for training camp in September. There's no sense rushing back and risking further injury.

With the Flyers play-off chances about as good as the cast from Disney on Ice, it would be foolish to risk coming back at all this season.
He's one of the few decent players the Flyers have
It would be much better to let him heal and come back next year when he's 100%

They're not making the playoffs, so his season's done.

Pronger took a shot off the face tonight. Ducks have their fingers crossed.
