I support our goals in Iraq and yes I plan to enlist in the Army when I graduate high school this year. It seems to me that the anti US elements in the Middle East would have a stake in the outcome of the presidential elections next year and would want to fund the party who would withdraw American troops from Iraq. Does anyone else agree?

They helped fund the Democrats in the last one...

They cheer for everything the Democrats do that hinders our effort to stabilize Iraq.

Why would they quit funding the team that is helping them win?

Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

I'm not sure about helping the Democrat Party in funding. For sure, whatever the Dems said who opposed Pres. decision in regards to Iraq war, they heard about it and they used the same words/principles to attack US. So the opponent of the war and the terrorists are the same.

BTW, they said they support the troops, but oppose the war and they mock the President with all the junk words that they can say, how educated they are...

I will be really fully support you. You are a brave girl. Thank you for your service to your country.

Your question does no longer say if there is gonna be yet another disaster that should wipe American finance off international markets between now and the subsequent election. if so, then an decision occasion does have of venture. Why do you think of Obama ruined his united states of america to shop the banks? because of the fact he enjoyed the banks or because of the fact he wanted to maintain the two-occasion status-quo?

Wow. You are a perfect soldier for the Republican Party, arentcha?

In case you haven't figured this out yet, Bush is doing more good for the terrorists' cause--than he is causing harm.

He's become the perfect recruitment tool for terrorists everywhere.

Good luck in getting out this civil war when you get into Iraq next year.

Because you're going to be there for a very looong time: 20-30 years by Cheney's estimates.

How does 'endless tours' sound to you?

I agree with you whole hearted. It's like anything else in the political world. . . if a group wants something bad enough they will contribute money to the party that is most apt to vote in bills that are beneficial to their cause.
