why do women have rights?

what kind of possessed man would allow women to leave the house at their own will? it sickens me to hear women speaking in public places without permission.

You must be real young because this is the most ignorant question I've ever seen! And if your not you should be real ashamed of yourself. How are you going to ask why do women have rights! You were birthed from a woman. How can you even say such a thing like it sickens you to hear a women speak in public, your telling me that your mothers makes you sick! You need to grow up, women aren't just an object that you can use and than throw aside when your done with them. The only thing different between a man and a women would be there sexual parts other than that both sex breath, eat, sleep and have emtional feeling.

You might think that was pretty amusing, but my cousin hasn't left her house in 2 years because she is too afraid to go out. She suffers with severe depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and social anxiety disorder. She can't even attent medical appointments or go shopping, because she is so afraid to set foot outside her house. She is pretty much incapacitated and her husband only wishes she would go out once in a while and do normal things together. It has put tremendous strain on their marriage and it is very stressful for them both.

So, do you still think you are being funny? Just maybe, you should think before you make a cheap cracks at the expense of those that might be suffering. It would be a breath of fresh air to someone swallow their pride, take a step back and admit maybe they took it too far.

I believe most people on this website are going to be angry at you for asking this. I am angry as well. But maybe you are asking because you have been taught differently from us.

So, to answer:
-Women can go wherever they want whenever they want because many societies recognize them as equals. Historically, women were viewed as inferior, and not educated. Men regarded the women, then, as stupid (as a product of their not being educated) and men decided this made them inferior. If men were not educated, they wouldn't be as capable, and women, the same way, might regard them as inferior. Now that women are being educated, they can be the intellectual equals of the men. As equals who understand the world as well as the men, they are allowed to speak. (In America, the right to free speech is in the constitution, along with an amendment stating that women are equals)

Permission from whom? Who is it that is qualified to give or take permission from me? When there is a qualified individual present to give me orders to remain silent, then I will. The last person qualified was my father.
