Its called the Secular Progressive movement and most of the ultra liberals are in on this thing. It boils down to, " take from those who have everything, and give to those who don't"
If America is a rich country, take from them and give to some third world country that has nothing. It is a almost true form of Socialism and borders on Communism.

But what he missed is they are not interested in helping anyone but themselves. They talk a good game about caring for the little guy but take every step to remove opportunity for the little guy to get started and move up.
Its why they try to keep taxes up on everyone but themselves. They favor so called death taxes so the families on the way up have another obstacle while they keep their own money protected.
