I check my order before I drive off. You should too, but if I forgot I would just scrape what I don't want off and give them a comment. Never play with my money!!!!

No, I would not go back to the drive thru.

What I would do is call the place up and ask for the manage. Politely tell them that you love their food however you have been disappointed the last 'X' times because you specifically requested that they do not put mustard or onions on your sandwich.

Hopefully, they will offer you a free sandwich on your next visit- if not don't go back- they obviously do not care enough about their customers to 'right' their 'wrong'. The worst thing you could do is support a restaurant with poor customer service.

In the future if you want a specific item left off of you meal tell them that you are deathly allergic. I know it may be a white lie but at least then you will get exactly what you want and what you paid for.

I'd go into the place and up to the counter. Don't be a dick until after you get your meal back, make sure to speak with a manager because they will prepare your food. Remember it's harder to spit in your food at a fast food restaurant because your right there as opposed to restaurants that have their kitchens in closed off areas where they spit, piss and you know other bodily functions into your food. When you get your food tell the manager that this happens all the time, even if it doesn't, and you will more than likely get it for free, but as you walk out give them the finger and be like "bitches" and knock over the nearest display. Now that you have started a scene they will remember you. Go back again and this time put in a fake accent. If you live on Long Island i will come as your support. As long as you buy me a milkshake.

I've learned to check my orders, yes sorry keeping everyone behind me waiting while I open my sandwiches.

Sometimes I can't. I don't usually go back, because if I had time I wouldn't be driving through anyway I'd be cooking! But, I have been known to call and speak to the manager. Once or twice this has resulted in a coupon with my name on it next time I go. Once or twice in the rather distant past now that I think about it.

When something is rendered inedible then I usually call, like when they put something on that isn't easily taken off like a sauce I don't like or *ugh* cheese that's actually melted for a change. Once they met me back outside with the correct order and a freebie to go with.

Best thing to do is to check your order before you go or just wipe off the mustard and pick off the onions. If you are going to drive back up there ask them to remake it or give you a refund. But I wouldn't drive back and waste time and gas on something minor like that.

Absolutely not, call back during the day, talk to Manager, explain the situation and you'll get better results than talking to a team member that could care less whether your order was made and completed as paid for. Plus, this gives the manager feedback on what the operation is doing while he/she is not in their store.

If you don't act hostile, you will usually get more than originally paid, and won't put a face to the dissatisfied customer compaint, that the team member(s) will be counselled about.

yes call. ask for the manager.tell them know that your order was made wrong.say that you are allergic to mustard etc.they;ll say to come back if you can;t just tell them to put you on the guess list for a free meal.that is your right.you did not ask for the wrong order its their fault.not yours.if they refuse to help you call the corporate office they well investigate the restaurant and send you a gift card or certificate for free food at that restaurant more likely they may fire the manager for being inconsiderate to you and maybe to other costumers. good luck

I never leave w/o checking; sometimes I'll pull ahead while I do so as to not piss others in line off and if it's wrong, I go in with receipt in hand, get it corrected, and generally leave with something free as well. I was in the fine dining industry for years and I have little tolerance in the food industry, especially at fast food joints, for incompetence. .

I usually call. You go through fast food because you have time constraints and its supposed to be fast. They will then send me gift certificates for my next visit. There have been a few times I have had to call back for the manager. Always ask if you are talking to THE Manager. In fast food everyone thinks they are a manager.

This has happened to me and my Mom a few times at Burgerking. (And yes, nine dollars is alot of money.) We hated mayo, so we got home and needless to say, there was mayo on out burgers. We called and let them know, and asked us if we wanted to bring the burger in. They said no, next time we say that we talked to Sas (the woman on the phone) and we could get free burgergs the next time we went in.
