You can always tell when you're about to faint.

If your eyes are open but you're seeing black, theres a good chance you're going to wind up on the ground.

It happens a lot because where I live the weather gets to about 110 degrees and i'm outside a lot playing intense sports. I get dehydrated easily.

I haven't ever fainted, but i have blacked out for a second or two, it feels like your gone for like a second or two, and you don't know why. Sometimes it happenes when you least expected or when you get up really fast...

I have it happen to me a few times when I donate blood. I've gotten the feeling of everything spinning and shadows around me. I've gotten to the point where i've about fell over, this all happened when i was working one day. I had to go to the back (i worked at a grocery store), i grabbed a gatorade off the shelf and then i walked into the walk in to cool off for a second, then i sat down... It felt awful...

I almost fainted once at color guard practice because it was really hot and I wasn't drinking enough water. And if I take a really hot bath then try to get out and just walk around, sometimes I fell like I'm fainting and I have to sit down. It's pretty scarry cuz everything gets really bright and sound goes all funny and almost dissapears! I hope ur alright, lol

Well, all you need is complete, good night sleep. You lack sleep and at the same time, you need to find time to relax. It seems to me that you are workaholic like me. I also fainted. That was 2 years ago right after my early morning tennis lesson. According to my instructor, he saw me as if in a trance and when I regained consciousness, I was on a sitting position. It's good the other instructor who happened to saw me immediately put me in that position. Or else, I would be 6 feet below the ground then.
As a result, I quit my tennis lesson although I love to play tennis. And also, I paid the instructor a certain amount of money for putting me in the sitting position.
So, try to find time to pause for an hour or two so as to regain your strength, ok? Have a nice day and GOD BLESS US ALL.

Yes, I have fainted many times. I almost always faint when I have to have my blood drawn. I have fainted at very inopportune moments, like on a NYC subway during rush hour, when I didn not eat breakfast. Almost always before I faint I get very dizzy and see very bright lights. I fall down and then wake up drenched in sweat.

Yes once. I was at the hospital visiting someone who had a foot surgery. She was explaining in very explicite detail how they cut through her bone etc. I ealked out of the room and fainted in the hallway. Funny thing is the nurses just looked at me real strange.

Usually when you are about to faint you can tell. And you can often stop it by not exerting yourself, getting some food, getting a drink, or whatever.
