My dream career is to become an entertainment journalist/television personality. I am looking at relocating to U of WA (Seattle) or U of CO (Boulder/Denver). I hear that they both have great programs, but I want the best that I can get. I want a BA or BS Degree in (mass) Communications or Journalism.. any advice?

Also, I plan on minoring in Theatre/Acting.

If you want to go into television, you probably should look at colleges near the industry. Los Angeles is the obvious choice to find the best opportunities for internships.

USC and UCLA have strong programs that will serve your career goals, but they are extremely competitive. You might try CSU Northridge (Hollywood) or CSU Fullerton (Disneyland), which are less competitive but also have majors that will get you experience in your chosen field.

Good luck!
