I understand colleges need to see students transcript and HS deploma to see on what level to put a student in college. Once the student got accepted what do colleges do afterwards with the HS deploma?

Please answer me, I really want to know.
Thanks.

If they don't see the transcripts then they have to test you to find out what level you are at so that they can begin your education accordingly.

BTW, I dropped out of high school and don't have a diploma. My University simply tested me to see what level I was at. I scored high enough, so I was able to start right away without any "developmental" classes.

None of the colleges i applied to needed to see a diploma, just the official transcript (which proved I had graduated). The diploma won't help them place you anyways, it just states that you graduated. I would call the school and ask them why they need it.

They trash everything after a few years. You shouldn't have to send them your diploma just your transcripts.

They keep records on file for awhile and then destroy them.

Colleges generally don't need to see your diploma, or a copy of it.

They send u back to the school because you cheated, along with your 'deploma'. Did an I occur to you after the D?
