I just moved into an apartment which is adjactent to a busy street. At night, I can hear all the traffic outside. Is there anything I can apply to my windows that will reduce the sound coming from outside. Replacing the windows is not an option since it is an apartment.

FIRST WHAT U DO IS TO GO TO HOMEDEPO WITH THIS PROBLEM. THEY SHOULD HAVE A SPECIAL TYPE OF PLEXIGLAS. IT COMES IN DIFFERNT THICKNESS.. I HAD A PROBLEM JUST LIKE THAT. I LOVE THE LOCATION BUT THE NOISE HAD TO GO. IT CAN BE APPLIED MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.. ASK FOR THIS INFORMATION. I WISH I COULD BE MORE HELPFULL. BUT IT WOULD DEPEND ON IF THERE IS WOOD AROUND THE WINDOW OR NOT. OK .. GOOD LUCK.

probably the easiest thing to do is to hang some heavy curtains over the window and around the room to adsorb the noise.
